Shelby approves zoning for U.S. 280 medical office
 

The Shelby County Planning Commission approved zoning for a new medical office building in the U.S. 280 corridor, but the final layout must come back to Development Services for approval. With Russ Hale absent, the planning board voted 4-0 to rezone 3.69 acres at U.S. 280 and Bowling Drive from a holding zone to general business. The property is across U.S. 280 from The Village at Lee Branch.
